Fox Fall TV Shows 2023: The Complete Schedule and Premiere Dates

We're more than four months into the writers strike and over 50 days into the actors strike, as the talented folks who make our favorite shows and movies picket for a fair living wage and the studios that don't want to share the wealth hold out and play the waiting game. This has caused mayhem for broadcast networks' fall TV schedules, with many making changes to the presumed schedules they announced in the spring. Fox opted not to announce its schedule in the spring, remaining quiet with the strikes looming, but in July revealed a strike-proof schedule reliant on reality television and animated series.

Sunday's animation block is the only scripted television on Fox this fall, taking advantage of the long lead time in production (the episodes were completely written a long time ago to give animators time to add their magic). Dan Harmon's Greek mythology series Krapopolis joins the block, replacing The Great North, which returns at a later date. Elsewhere, it's a lot of unscripted television. Cooking competitions, singing competitions, and David Spade's new series Snake Oil fill out the week, with wrestling and college football covering the weekend.

Once the strike is settled, we'll presumably see the network's two new scripted series: Rescue: HI-Surf, a lifeguard drama set in Hawaii's North Shore of Oahu from ER's John Wells; and Doc, about a doctor who suffers a traumatic brain injury and loses all memory of the last eight years of her life. Also coming are the animated series Grimsburg, about a small-town detective (voiced by Jon Hamm), and We Are Family, a music guessing game hosted by Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne.
